RCI
is a complete sport because it includes tracking, obedience,
jumps and bite work.
Trust
des Gardiens du Pacte is the first White Shepherd in France
to have been ranked in RCI II and in IPO2.
Trust
isn’t just a working dog with a bright future he has
also obtained excellent results during conformation shows
of which 1st excellent CACS and Best of Breed at the National
Breeders exhibit in 2005 as well as 4th place at the French
Championships in 2004. He is devoid of any dysplasia of
the hip or elbow.
His

RCI/FCI Competition in Achéres RCI 2 on April 1st
2006: 3rd – Good(243 pts)

His master talks to
us about his dog:
“It is 8h45 am on October
30, 2004 and the judge, Mr. Roland Meyer, has just given
me the start sign to launch Trust on a 20 minutes old trail.
Tracking, at which we obtained 95/100 thanks to a good hold
of the trail and perfect marking of the two objects, is
the first of three trials to be performed during this RCI
competition organized by the CEC of Vexin. Movement when
a gun was shot during the “down with diversion “
cost us 10 pts at an otherwise perfect obedience trial according
to Mr Meyer; Trust was particularly enthusiastic during
the “Fetch”, the obstacle and “Forward”.
Finally close to the end I prefer to lose a few points to
motivate as well as hold by the collar during the protection
phase of the competition, graded 92/100, for a total of
272/300, which allowed Trust at the age of 23 months, and
after 18 months of training at the CEC Montgommery, to become
the first White Shepherd in France to obtain his RCI certificate.
I am betting on the fact that he won’t stop there
and that he will encourage others to join this discipline…”
